24 Oct 2023 — The region of Andalucia, Spain collaborates in the design of innovative technologies
POCITYF is not the only project pushing for energy autonomy in buildings.
Andalucia is collaborating, through several European projects, in the design of innovative technologies to provide energy autonomy to public buildings – especially those who need greater autonomy such as hospitals.
The final aim is to design solutions to convert existing public buildings into nearly zero energy consumption buildings with renewable self-supply and greater autonomy in their energy supply.
For the development of these technologies, two pilot projects have been implemented:
- Centro Nacional de Hidrógeno (CNH2), Spain
- National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG), Portugal
