Energy citizenship as a key pillar in the energy transition – workshop at Sustainable Places

26 Aug 2022 — POCYTIF will take part in the workshop discussing about the impact of citizen participation on local energy systems

Citizens are crucial for the successful development and broad uptake of sustainable energy concepts. The European projects POCITYF, ATELIER, +CityxChange, ENERGE, MakingCity and Bright will go into the multifold details of the topic during the joint workshop organised at Sustainable Places.

The workshop will focus on the methods, strategies and expected impacts of citizen participation on local energy systems. POCITYF will be represented by Manuel Aires de Matos and Bianca Banica, to discuss about “Conceptual Models for Mapping Citizen Engagement Strategies” and by Joke Kort to debate about “Tenant engagement strategies”.
