Clusters meet Regions – Cosmic Małopolska

19 Dec 2023 — AGORADA+ discusses harnessing aerospace technologies, Smart City concepts, and life sciences for regional development.

On December 11 and 12, the annual event “AGORADA+ & Clusters meet Regions” took place in Kraków, Poland.

Organized by EURADA, a key partner in POCITIYF, and its Polish member, the Malopolska Regional Development Agency (MARR), the event brought together over 150 partecipants to strategize and share insights for advancing regional development through collaborative efforts and innovative technologies.

The event is part of the series of initiatives called “Clusters meet Regions,” which have previously been organized in various EU regions. It focused on facilitating the implementation of good practices, wherein clusters actively contribute to regional economies as drivers for economic transition. It also aimed to create and promote collaborations between clusters and regional stakeholders to foster industrial development within the regions.

During the event, POCITYF was well-rapresented by Màgui Lage and Nuno Bilo. The two leaders of the Evora Lighthouse City were featured as speakers in the panel “New European Bauhaus, cultural and creative industries clusters, and social innovation initiativesdo they really work?” on the conference’s opening day.

The initiative also saw the valuable support of the European Commission (EC) and the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP).
