The 3rd of September from 09:00 to 12:30 CEST the workshop organised by POCITYF and SPARCS projects will give participants the opportunity to listen to top experts from the sector and share their views on the topic of P2P energy platforms.
POCITYF and SPARCS projects invite you to join their interactive workshop on “P2P energy platforms” organised in the framework of the EIP-SCC General Assembly and the URBIS Smart City Fair. The workshop will take place on the 3rd of September from 09:00 to 12:30 CEST in a hybrid format: participants may both join online or physically in Brno.

During the event experts, representing different type of players from the sector, will share their know how on multiple aspects related to the topic: from citizens engagement to business models to make P2P platforms bankable, from the regulatory aspects from which P2p can benefit to the ICT tools that can improve the P2P energy exchange experience.
Among the speakers, Natasha Karatza from Kimatica – POCITYF’s project partner, will share the outcomes of a two year implementation of a P2P energy donation platform deployed in USA and EU electric utilities and also the evolution of the concept of energy donation to P2P energy transactions and trading. A similar platform will be deployed in POCITYF’s demo-site Évora, allowing the Lighthouse city to provide support to low income families who cannot afford to pay their bills and strengthen the social bonding of the community
After the plenary session, participants will be divided into three discussion groups focusing on:
