Smart Heritage Cities Working Group: Building Smart Cities with Cultural Heritage

On December 6th Alkmaar will discuss the topic of smart cities and cultural heritage.

Our partner EURADA will host this online meeting on December 6th from 11.00 to 12.00 CET.

Niek Hendriks, Alkmaar Smart City Programme Manager, will explore the concept of why smart cities are necessary and how cultural heritage cities can become smart cities.

The session will tackle some questions:

What is exactly a smart city?

What are the main challenges in transforming a city into a smart city?

What differentiate a smart city and smart cultural heritage city?

This 8th meeting of the working group will take the format of an interactive discussion and will last for 60 minutes.

You are invited to take part in this interactive and participatory working group to learn more about the topic and share your opinions!
