The 15th-century Palace of the Counts of Sortelha in Évora now features around 3,350 “invisible” solar tiles made from recyclable resin, designed to look like traditional materials while generating energy. Completed in early 2024, this upgrade has transformed the building into a solar power plant with a peak capacity of 25 kilowatts.
