POCITYF joins SPARCS in celebrating its achievements in energy efficiency and urban innovation.
After five years of dedicated work in creating smarter and more sustainable cities, POCITYF’s fellow project, SPARCS, has come to an end. To officially conclude its activities and celebrate its pioneering achievements in the field of energy efficiency, a final event was held in Espoo, Finland, from 11 to 12 September 2024.
The conference featured a variety of presentations, meetings, and networking opportunities, providing valuable insights into the work and solutions developed by SPARCS. The event also included participation from several related projects, with POCITYF contributing to the session titled “Smart and Sustainable Cities: Projects Sharing Stories“, where it shared key insights on energy transition, Positive Energy Districts (PEDs), and climate neutrality.
Moreover, in collaboration with Scalable Cities, SPARCS organized a second day of the event filled with parallel meetings and sessions, aimed at sharing crucial lessons on positive energy districts and urban innovation.
Although the SPARCS project has officially concluded, its impact will be long-lasting, laying important milestones on the path towards Europe’s energy transition.
