The event aims to reinforce the link between urban innovation and digital tools, towards Europe’s climate neutrality goals

POCITYF will take part in the TIPS4PED workshop “Replication of Local Digital Twins through Standardisation”, confirming its commitment to advance positive energy districts and the digital solutions needed to make them scalable and replicable across Europe.

Organised at the POLIS offices in Brussels, on Wednesday 17 December, the workshop aims to start the development of a CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) focused on replication and scaling of local digital twins. Drawing on lessons learned in Evora and Alkmaar, Joao Cravinho from the project coordinator team EDP and Iphigenia Sarrea from partner Kimatica will contribute with practical insights on integrated planning, energy optimisation and cross-sector coordination at district level.

The workshop represents a key step toward aligning research and standardisation for the replication of positive energy districts. By engaging with sister projects initiatives, POCITYF continues to support a shared European commitment towards climate neutrality, strengthening collaboration and exchange across cities and stakeholders.
