28 Feb 2025 — Évora is advancing in the replication of solutions towards a more sustainable future!
POCITYF coordinator, EDP NEW, in collaboration with CMÉ, organized a workshop at Palácio D. Manuel I.
The session brought together representatives from various partners, including DECSIS, INESCTEC, PACT, the University of Évora, SONAE/Elergone, and Ubiwhere.
The main objective of the event was to develop business models for replicating the technological solutions tested in Évora, focusing on three strategic areas: Energy Production and Storage, Energy Management and Flexibility, and Electric Mobility and Infrastructure. The insights gained from this session will support the deployment of these solutions in other heritage-protected cities. A key principle of the project is ensuring that the adopted technologies respect and preserve the architectural integrity of historic sites.
The day also included a site visit to some of the implemented solutions that are contributing to a more energy-sustainable city.
